The latter days are “the Hour of Judgement” in which many of the dead are to arise.

Angels, by disposing circumstances, can influence men to act in a certain way without interfering with their volitions.

Like Daniel, may we pray for the fulfilment of God’s purpose.

“The saints of the Most High will take the kingdom, and possess the kingdom for ever, even for ever and ever”, never receding from their position, nor leaving it to be possessed by others.

God is displeased with the wickedness of men now as He was then. He is not an indifferent spectator of the ways of nations, though He would appear so in this time of long-kept silence.

The saints are called to a higher work in all respects. Even now it is highest work to preach the Gospel of the future kingdom.

“God ruleth in the kingdom of men and giveth it to whomsoever He will” – and is guiding them to a determined end.
